Mall Life in Ayala Alabang's Retail Areas

How dynamic is mall life in the vicinity of Ayala Alabang and the nearby commercial areas?

Any Alabanger (as the Alabang resident's monicker goes) will tell you that you don't need to travel to Makati for a great shopping experience. Check out Alabang Town Center in Madrigal Business Park area, Festival Mall in Filinvest Corporate City, SM Southmall in Las Pinas City.

If you're a bazaar person, Festival Mall has rows of stalls selling pearls and semi-precious stones, gift items, and what-have-you at the Foodcourt basement level. Shoppers claim that its prices are competitive with the pearl and semi-precious stone traders of shopping mecca Greenhills Shopping Center. Inside Ayala Alabang there are different bazaars year round organized in the St. James the Greater church premises, parks and covered courts.

And if that's not enough, cross over to BF Homes Paranaque after dinner to browse through the great bargains at the permanent Night Market, which sells a huge variety of the latest DVD movies, imported clothes and bags, toys, and home accessories.

If you've gone through these Southern malls, which shops are your favorites? We'll be featuring some in the near future!
